Welcome to Verifix. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Verifix platform, website, and services. By accessing or using Verifix, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Verifix operates as a marketplace platform connecting customers seeking home improvement and repair services with verified tradespeople and service providers in the Philippines.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the Verifix website, mobile applications, and related services.
• "Customer" refers to individuals seeking home services through the Platform.
• "Business" or "Tradesperson" refers to verified service providers listed on the Platform.
• "Services" refers to the home improvement, repair, and maintenance services offered by Businesses.
• "We," "Us," "Our" refers to Verifix and its operators.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Use of Platform

4.1 For Customers

Customers may use the Platform to search for, contact, and hire verified tradespeople. You agree not to:

• Provide false information about your service requirements
• Use the Platform to harass or abuse Businesses
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform to avoid fees or tracking
• Post false or misleading reviews

4.2 For Businesses

Businesses may create listings to offer their services. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your business, credentials, and services
• Maintain all necessary licenses, insurance, and qualifications
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Provide quality services as described in your listing
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Verification Process

Verifix conducts verification checks on Businesses, including but not limited to:

• Business registration and licensing verification
• Insurance coverage verification
• Identity and background checks
• Professional credentials verification

While we strive to ensure all Businesses are properly verified, Verifix does not guarantee the quality of services provided and is not liable for any disputes between Customers and Businesses.

6. Payments and Fees

The Platform is free for Customers. Businesses pay subscription fees to maintain their listings. All payments for services are made directly between Customers and Businesses. Verifix is not involved in these transactions and is not responsible for payment disputes.

7. Reviews and Ratings

Customers may leave reviews and ratings for Businesses. Reviews must be:

• Based on genuine experiences with the Business
• Honest, accurate, and not misleading
• Free from profanity, discriminatory language, or personal attacks
• Not posted in exchange for compensation or incentives

Verifix reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Verifix or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Verifix acts as a marketplace platform and is not directly involved in the provision of services by Businesses. We are not liable for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of services provided
• The accuracy of Business listings or information
• Disputes between Customers and Businesses
• Property damage or personal injury resulting from services
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Verifix harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines.
